Each inhale Sasuke took seemed to require more and more strength as time went on. It was true, a shinobi should always come prepared for any situation, but even then sometimes mistakes are made at the fault of human error. However, these mistakes can be extremely costly in some cases and as time passed, the shinobi could see how costly his mistake was going to be.
He had been assigned to a kidnapping case of a very prominent child in the Sand Village, yet his partner that he was assigned with had forgotten something essential when traveling to such a scorching climate.
Water.
Sasuke sat in the middle of the desert waiting for his partner to return from their search to find the essential commodity when he glanced up. A human silhouette was walking towards his way, and Sasuke could only hope it was his idiot companion.
“Please tell me you brought back something of use.”
She was dressed in a night gown, hair falling loose down her back. She did not recall dying, but supposed that she must have been wearing these clothes upon her death. The puncture wounds and bloody holes in the fabric seemed to support this theory.
He could have at least made an effort to be kinder, she thought, looking sad and maybe a little hurt. For a fraction of a second. And then annoyance took hold. The power point up at the front of the class flickered, as did a few lights. Anger was dangerous for ghosts.
She put her hand on his head—well, rather, she put her hand through his head. It was an uncomfortable sensation for both of them, but she was annoyed enough to ignore the chills she got. Cold meant very little to the dead—the only punctuation of their chilly, numb existence was the way emotion burned much brighter; bordering on madness sometimes.
“How strange. I had just assumed you were incapable of emotion. But if you’re flattered I see that my assumptions were incorrect. How pleasantly surprising.”
She almost imagined she could feel the spaces in his brain, but it was a lie. She couldn’t feel anything. Touch was beyond her now.
– - The chill was always a lingering feeling whenever she was around. It never crossed the line to bothersome, but the goosebumps seemed to caress his skin no matter how much he was used to the sensation of her presence in the past year.
The first time he encountered the female spirit was a little over a year ago when he was on his way home from school. The weather had just started to heat up from the winter’s cold, so he was taken aback when he felt the goosebumps form onto his skin. At first, he thought he was coming down with the cold, but once he saw her he knew that that wasn’t the case. Fear turned to panic, and panic turned to confusion, and it seemed to be for both sides. Sasuke had no idea why the female would continually come to him, but he had learned to accept it as something he couldn’t change, and he hated that.
But not as much as he hated it when she touched him, or to be more correct, when she went through him. As Ino’s hand went through Sasuke’s head, a large chill went through his spine, visable to any other of the students that could have been looking at him. After he had recovered, he glared up at the ghost.

Of course, fight fire with fire, right? A sarcastic remark for another. That’s just how it worked between them, for whatever reason. He knew that he had angered her as lights within the classroom began to flicker on and off, shoving both students and teacher into a minute state of confusion.
Glaring, Sasuke ever so nicely replied, ”I’m more human than you, right? I’ve gotta have some type of emotion stored in that black pit I call a heart, right?“
So I reached 600 followers today even though I only reached 500 last week so I decided to make a proper follow forever post this time, since I didn’t feel it went good last time. Art Credit (x)

Just because I’m not replying to our thread, or your starter doesn’t mean I don’t want to roleplay with you. I’m just slow. Some days I can write a fucking book, some days I can’t even write my own name. It’s in the drafts I promise I am just slow as hell.
